Post subject: trying to veiw access file
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>access (more info?)

hi. i was sent a microsoft access file on a disk...i downloaded microsoft
access latest trial version...it will not open the file from the disk...i
guess they are 2 different versions....how do i open file if the version of
the file is different than the access version i downloaded

MS only provides trial download on latest version, which must be Access2007,
which should be able to open all Access file (*.mdb,*.accdb,*.adp) of all
previous version, or at least Acesss9x and Access2000x. There must be other
reason(s) for not opening.

What error message are you getting?
