If you need the headers to all be different, you need to put a SECTION BREAK
between the pages (not a page break). You will also have to turn off the
SAME AS PREVIOUS feature BEFORE you actually make the edits to the new
header.

Let me know if you want a macro that fixes all of the SAME AS PREVIOUS
features in all the headers/footers before doing any editing.

If you're trying to insert a page number, then you need to insert a PAGE
field. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Numbering/PageNumbering.htm

Sounds like you want page numbers. In a header, click Insert Page
Number (don't type any numbers).
