i cant change my screen resolution- the cursor in display is stuck on the
left hand side- how can i move it?

If the "Screen resolution" slide in "Display Settings" won't move, you
need to reinstall your graphics drivers; they may have been damaged
during a shutdown, or the like.

You could try using System Restore to go back to a date before the
problem first occurred. But if this was too long ago, some recent
installs might not be "seen".
