Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>music_pictures_video (more info?)
Having trouble converting mswmm files to any other file, all movie maker
will let me save. Any suggestions or help will be appreciated

The mswmm is not a video file, it's merely the project file, which is a set
of instructions (or recipe) to make a movie.
You have to publish the movie in order to get a video file.
