| I need to do a fresh install of Windows vista home premium on my laptop
that I am renting from a company. However, they didn't give me an
install disc or recovery disc when they rented out the lap top to me. Is
there a way to do this with out the discs?

Hello Amos,
You may have a recovery partition on the drive instead that you can
boot with to restore Vista back to factory defaults. You can try booting
into the '*_Advance_Boot_Options_*'
then select "Repair Your Computer" (if available) to restore Vista to
factory default. Since it is a rental, you will need to consult with
them on their proper procedure on how to do this if the option is
available.
Hope this helps,

Possibly, if the computer's manufacturer placed a "Recovery Partition"
on the hard drive. Consult either the manual that came with the
computer, or the manufacturer's web site.
Otherwise, no. >> Stay informed about: Need to Re-install, do a fresh install |
