My insert symbols has disapeared, where can i find it

Post subject: My insert symbols has disapeared, where can i find it
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>word>docmanagement (more info?)

I was trying to insert some symbols by the key board, and the insert symbols
disapeared from the task bar, where would I be able to get it back.
I need help

Word versions up to and including 2000, it is in the Insert menu (otherwise

Word 2007 Insert Symbol is indelibly on the Insert tab.
