Post subject: How do I identify the device?
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>perform_maintain (more info?)

Error mssg "a device attached to it is not working" when "start" is clicked
on "Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Configuration" in Services. How do I
identify the device?

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

Look in Windows Logs and see if there are any messages there that will give
more information.
