Your question is ambiguous so here are answers. Pick the one that is
applicable.

1. You can direct downloads to be saved anywhere you want. Look in your
browser's options. I usually save downloads to the Desktop where they are
easy to find.

2. You can install programs onto another hard drive during the installation
process. In most cases, you'll be offered a Custom install so you can pick
the installation location.
