I have XP Home Media Edition. I did go to Display...settings.... It is
pointing to 1024 x 768 but the little block in the lower right corner that
says "Apply" is sort of grayed out and won't allow me to click it. If I
click on "OK" nothing changes (which is why I thought I should be clicking on
"Apply"). Any suggestions? I have no idea why the resolution changed in the
first place. My granddaughter does play Hidden items games on this and I
think the resolution changes during the playing of the game but it has always
changed back when she exited the game. Could something not changed as it
should have after the finish of the game? What do you suggest I try to fix
this problem? "Thank you" in advance to whomever is kind enough to come to
my aid. Smile

If 1024x768 is the true setting , click on another setting which
should highlight the apply button , reclick on the correct setting and
apply
