So, going to need a wee bit more information. What file? Are you trying to
open a file from an Access database, the subject of this newsgroup? What
code are you using? Access version?

I suspect that the question may be better answered in a newsgroup
appropriate to your problem. This newsgroup is dedicated to the Microsoft
Access database product. If it is an Access question, please tell us which
version of Access you have, and what the file extensions are.
