Hi, meyersroman.

Sadly, no.

Microsoft is moving all free support efforts to Forums. So they never
created a newsgroup for Win7. "Discussion groups" really are Usenet
newsgroups "in disguise" so that they can be accessed from the web by using
a browser (such as Internet Explorer). They still exist, but Microsoft has
announced plans to close all of them, starting next week (June 1). The
announcements have appeared in these groups several times. The latest was
last week, on 5/19/2010, with the Subject:
Reminder - Microsoft Responds to the Evolution of Community. A partial
quote from that message:

Where Should I go with the Closure of this Newsgroup?
In an effort to enhance and improve your experience, this newsgroup is
scheduled for closure in the upcoming months and we would like to invite you
to participate at

forum(s). An exact date will be posted in advance as plans are finalized.

The Forums have been operating for some time already. You can click here
and choose from several Win7 groups:

If you go to the windows newsgroup there are a bunch of Linux retards who
believe that they have the right to shove Ubuntu down our throats.

It's difficult to "shove Ubuntu down our throats" when it's virtually
impossible to walk into any major retailer and get a computer without MS
- whether you want it or not.

Yes, but since Microsoft is shutting down their NNTP server and
newsgroups. You won't find it here. Search around for
alt.windows7.general. Try eternal-september.org or aioe.org
