Post subject: disabling mouse shadow and visual effects, no effect
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>general (more info?)

It's the third time I disable some graphic options to gain
performance but every windows xp restart, seems to "forget" the
changes.

What could be causing that?

I'm trying to optimize performance.
