IMO They need to implement 3d capabilities into it.
Such as AutoDESK's DWF format.
When that happens then it will be a force (over PDF) to be reckoned with.
As it stands it's still a good, lightweight 2d document viewer.
Everything appears to be going XML (which is what XPS is based on) these
days.
