I recently installed Service Pack 3 on my XP Home machine. Performance has
declined noticeably. Is there some way in which I can Uninstall SP3? and,
what consequences might I face if I do this?

Add/Remove Programs and if you've done little since the install, you
should be able to just remove it. Do the typical prep, backup
important stuff.
