I was having trouble with a Word document and was advised on this Board to use the Detect and Repair feature. I tried, but it was unable to find a necessary file to complete the procedure, so I canceled it. Now, whenever I try to open an Excel file from within Outlook, it goes into the same setup screen, can't find the same file, then bails. I can only open Excel files by saving them, opening Excel, then opening the saved file from within Excel. Most frustrating. >> Stay informed about: Word Detect and Repair screwed up Excel
