If you're logging into a domain, it should contain the exact same info
as the User info on the domain states.
Do you possibly have a local profile you're loading?
You could always log in as an Administrator, remove the incorrectly
named user profile on the workstation (after making sure your data is
backed up, even on the Desktop), log in anew and it should be corrected.
