I have installed Vista x32 with SP2 Ultimate. When I installed anti-virus,
BSOD came. Same AV version haven't problem with Vista SP1, what is updated to
SP2.

Then I try to install Vista with SP2 to hyper-v server, but installation
stops immediately error screen (STOP: 0x0..8E). Is
en_windows_vista_ultimate_sp2_checked_build_x86_dvd_342432.iso packet ok ?

Mike,

Just by chance, is that SP-2 a Beta Version?

It would obviously have to be as Vista SP2 hasn't been released yet.

Yes it has. I haven't checked to see if it's on the MS downloads page yet
but it has been on TechNet and MSDN since last week and .isos with it
integrated are also available. However, if the OP didn't get his
installation media from there your assumption that he is using a beta
version of SP2 is a good one.

Remove SP2, contact your AV support people, and find out when a compatible
version will be released. SP2 is not final, and it sounds like your not
familiar with beta testing, so wait till it's final.

The final version has already been released to MSDN & TechNet subscribers

Then I guess the OP needs to clarify if he's a Technet subscriber Smile

Several problems - Current Hyper-V is RC - 64 bit required with
virtualization capable CPUS (AMD V or Intel VT).

From your post "...checked_build_x86...." - not only is it 32 bit but
"checked builds" are designed for developers and programmers and have
several modifications such as error traps.

I tested this Vista in Hyper-V v.1 , where is running WS2003, WS2008 and
Vista machines. This ML370G5 is virtualization capable.

Yes, Vista wSP2 is Build 6002 debug version. It was released 5/14/2009.
Next I try download normal version (without bebug) and test it. AV vendor
say also, that install new verion of Vista wSP2 and test again.

This isn't a forum for beta testing. Install the final version if you have
it available or post your problems in the beta forums if you are still using
a beta version.
