I'm using Vista x64, and its been working fine recently. I installed
Google Chrome last night, without problems, and with the PC working
fine. After leaving it on for about an hour and a half untouched, I came
back to my PC to find it had switched off. When booting up, it says
"Windows failed to start", with the file "PCIIDEX.SYS" being "missing or
corrupt". I've used startup repair on the setup disc, but this says that
it cannot solve the problem automatically.
I was just wondering if there is another way to solve this?
Thanks:D
