Using Microsoft XP Prof SP2 and then SP3 I am unable to load any
programswhich am able to be loaed on my other XP Prof SP3 computer. Click on
SETUP.exe, it acesses the CD, then quits and nothing happens. Nothing in task
manager such as "not responding". Some are games, some programs, some for
windows 98, some for XP? Worked previously. Have McAfee which I have turned
off and still no loading?

Did you burn a CD with your games and programs on it and it previously
worked Ok, but now doesnt??
If yes , it could be a bad CD or CD drive. Try a commercial CD and
see what develops.

No, these are programs such as Myst, Atari arcades, U-lead photo Impact. I
can not get them installed? I have tried loading the Win 98 drivers in case
but that was not required for installation on my other XP computer!

You cannot load Win98 Drivers on WinXP. What you can do is rt click
the setup.exe file and select Properties>Compatibility Mode. Check the box
and select Windows98.
