Post subject: System restore: Could not create. . . Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>general (more info?)
I turned system restore off to clean out old files, now trying to turn
system restore back on I keep getting an error message: "Could not create
the scheduled task for the following reason: the task image is corrupt or
has been tampered with. (0x80041321)" Tried again and tried rebooting,
nothing??
System restore won't use HDD - I just got a new primary HDD and planned on restoring my pics etc. off
of the backup created using the MS utility on my secondary HDD. When
using the Advanced Restore option it only gives me the option of my DVD
and DVDR drives. All of my stuff is..
System Restore Takes Forever to Open - When I click System Restore it takes nearly 40 seconds top open. Sometimes longer than that. When my patients runs out and I clisk it again I get a message telling me it's already open. Where, I have no idea. Anyone else having this problem? James
