I just purchased a new ThinkPad with XP pre-loaded (didn't want
Vista). Frequently, 'something' happens and when I try to scroll
down
the page I can only scroll down ONE page and the then the top of the
page bounces back to the top of the screen. If I try to scroll down
by dragging the bar on the right side of the screen, I can go down
the
page but when I let go of the mouse the top of the page bounces back
to the top of the screen. This happens in Outlook and Word. It
hasn't happened in other Office apps but I really haven't used them
enough.

I am running XP with SP3.

I run Norton virus scanned daily and haven't picked up any virus
(that
I know of).

If I re-boot the problem goes away.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Chuck
