Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>installation_setup (more info?)

Hi, recently reformated my laptop, but when i plug in my kingston
datatraveler2.0 thumbdrive, it refuses to install the driver! It detacts
the thumbdrive in the device manager section, but the device status is
as follows:

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 2Cool
This operation requires an interactive window station.

To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.

Have tried reinstalling drivers MANY times, but to no avail... Before
reformatting my laptop could read the thumbdrive no problem, so its
really confusing. Kingston website also states that vista should
automatically install the driver Sad Seems like the problem might be the
interactive window thingy, but im not sure...please help ppl! much
appreciated Very Happy
