Hello -- I would like to preserve the format of an excel table that is linked
into a powerpoint file. How is this done?

Normally the formatting is preserved when you do this.

What version of Office do you have and what specific problems have you run into?

And how exactly are you linking the tables?

The more detail you can give us, the more likely it is that someone will be able
to come up with an answer that works for you.
