Hi,
I've just ripped some footage of my friends and I doing white water rafting
off a DVD, edited it from about half an hour to about three minutes and put a
different song behind the video. When I publish the movie and try to play it
back in media player I can only hear the song and have a totally black screen
when it plays absolutely fine in Movie Maker itself! Would it matter what
file type the original footage from the DVD is? It was a .vob file but I
changed it to .mpg as it plays back in media player that way. Would that
matter..? the song is just a wma file.
I'm confused!
I tried publishing the movie as .avi and also as .wmv and the same problem
happens in both.
Any ideas?!
Thanks!

Apparently...your .vob source file is not fully compatible
with Movie Maker. Even though it will play the file in edit
mode...Movie Maker cannot render the file as video.
