In the Master Slide, in the Object Area box, I want the first paragraph to
have no indents.

Underneath that paragraph, I want bulleted paragraphs, but I want the bullet
to have no indent, but I want a hanging indent for the paragraph. I want it
to look like this:

Text text text text text text text text text text text text text text
text text text text text text text text text text text text text text
text text text text text text text

O text text text text text text text text text text text text text
text text text text
text text text text text text text text text text text text
text text text text

O text text text text text text text text text text text text text
text text text
text text text text text text text text text text text text
text text

So the first level has no bullet and has no indent.

The second level has a bullet -- the bullet is at the left margin, and the
paragraph would be "Hanging" at 0.5".

How would I do this please? Thank you!!

I should have mentioned in my above question that I use Powerpoint 2003.

You will need to adjust the ruler on the master.

You should be able to adjust the method to get what you need.

Fantastic! It worked! And guess what John? I didn't even have to use this
method on the Master. I was able to change it on just the actual page
itself. Holding down the CTRL key and dragging the upper indent marker is
what I didn't know about and it's great! Thanks again!
