I'm reworking an old powerpoint presentation in Powerpoint 2007. When I
click on one of the charts to update it, it asks me to convert it 2007
format. Once I do this, however, one of data labels in the legend
disappears. The legend goes from looking like this:
x Secure (8-10) x (4-7) x (Not secure (1-3) x Don't know/Refused

to this:
x Secure (8-10) x (Not secure (1-3) x Don't know/Refused

The (4-7) row is still there in the data sheet and the actual data for that
row is still in the charts, but this legend entry just dissappears. How can
we edit charts in 07 like we did before?

You could opt not to convert to 2007 format and edit the old charts in MSGraph
instead, but that's a bit fragile if the files go out to more than just a few
users.

What happens if you toggle the legend display off then on again?
