| When I view a page larger than 8.5x11 in print preview, the top 2 inches of
the document are missing. It is as if something is covering it up. I have
deleted the headers/footers, set margins to minimum but nothing will allow me
to print in the top 2 inches. Help.

Hi,
When you place your mouse pointer near the upper edge of a page in Print
Layout view, your mouse pointer takes on a form with two small arrows.
Clicking (Word 2003) or double-clicking (Word 2007) the mouse when the mouse
pointer takes such a form hides or shows the white space between pages, that
is, the top and bottom margins.
As you move your mouse to click options in the user interface, you may have
inadvertently clicked (Word 2003) or double-clicked (Word 2007) the mouse
just when it is located near the upper edge of a page in Print Layout view.
Positioning the mouse pointer again near the upper edge of the page and
clicking (Word 2003) or double-clicking (Word 2007) the mouse will show the
white space between pages and restore the top and bottom margins.
You can read more about this feature and another method for restoring the
top and bottom margins in

Thanx for the response. Sorry for not specifying I am using 2007 with Vista.
Also it is just the top of the page and not the bottom. I went to the site as
you suggested, but it did not solve the problem. The box was already checked.
When I move the pointer along the top, it did not change to two small arrows.
When I double click at the top in view, it shows the header as .05 as I set.
Any other suggestions?

Hi,
Is the page size tht you are using a standard page size that is defined for
your printer? If not, your printer driver may not allow you to create the
page size that you are trying to use. >> Stay informed about: Header space |

I was looking for a complex answer with trying to figure out this new
complex program and it turns out you hit the nail on the head. As I changed
the size of the paper, more and more of the picture was in the print preview.
Turns out the largest the printer will allow in print preview is 9 inches.
Pesach thank you for solving this for me.
