Looking back at our lives, even merely 10 years ago have you expected this?

A few days ago I was playing with Google Earth, sending video output to a
giant LCD Display my parents use as a TV.
Enetered my address, virtually strolled by my avenue/street corner, and
there was my car.
Zoomed into windows and stickers which I used to ornamnet my car with.

I was mesmerized, tell this back when I was in High School and I'd assume
you're either drunk or reading Science Fiction.
The resolution stopped short of being able to read License Plates, but a few
letters you can guess.
I remember a decade ago there was talk that any Satellite imagery available
to general public should stop just at this resolution - unable to read
things like car license plates, peoples faces, etc.
But fact is I could recognize a few neighbors faces as Google was taking
satellite imagery when they happened to be exiting building.
Fact is my license plates were on the verge of being able to read.
And now this shoker:

It's getting to point where if I forget on which side of the street I
parked, as you know parking in New York City is a pain, I can check street
cleaning roadsign by using a sattellite - it''s that good, so far it;s hard
to read but some signs I could read on a computer from a satellite hundreds
of miles up on space.

Who knew we'll progress to this point years ago?
God is great.
And God created us also with great brain abilities, we're nothing comparing
to God, we're a ZERO, but even so, we achieved this with His help.

I tell you it's scary to check your small car (mine is very small) down to
looking into its windows just by clciking some website which also shows you
all US, Canada, UK, etc street level.
And finally:

I am sure they CAN show you smaller objects, it's just Government/Military
limits general public ability to access such resolution as it might be used
to harm country, defense or security.
i am sure even at this resoltuion we access now, Google Earth is dangerous
when used by enemies, so it & GPS access to general public must be disabled
during conflicts, and only left for military.

Use Google Maps' street view if you want more resolution. Those were
taken by a car with a camera on top, not from a satellite.
