I have a fairly complex animated GIF file which works fine when added to a
presentation using PPT 2003. It also works fine when viewed with the 2007
PPT Viewer.

When viewed with PPT 2000, or added to a presentation using 2000, it shows
the first few frames of the GIF, loops back to the start, and repeats. Each
time it repeats, it gets a little further through the frames.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Pete

You might want to take a look at:

Thanks. I checked this, but it does not appear to discuss the issue of GIF
animations ending after a few frames.
