Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>hardware (more info?)

Hi All,

I am trying to use the Fax Wizard that came with Windows XP SP3, and I am
getting the following message:
Fax Server information cannot be retrieved. The fax wizard will close now.

Under the device manager the driver for the modem which is: Conexant D110
MDC V.9x
seems to be fine. it is enabled.

Any idea?

Thanks,

Steve
