I am running Excel 2007 and when i filter a list and then highlight the
filtered results to cut and paste into another application, it also paste's
the hidden information from the filtered list, so i am getting everything
instead of just the filtered results.
Does anyone know if there is a setting i need to switch off that will
resolve this?
Thanks

Press ALT+; before copying. This will Select Vsible Cells Only.

Woody -

After you select the data you want to copy, but before you hit copy, do this:

Edit Go To Special Visible Cells Only (OK)

Then hit copy and go paste it where you want it.
