This blender is really what I expected. I don't blend hard stuff, or even ice, so far, so I guess it is expected that it should work without problems. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the motor makes some loud noises sometimes. All in all, I definitely recommend this product.
Bought this specifically to make homemade mayonnaise. Big mistake. Not as easy as seen on YouTube, or as described in the instruction manual, trust me!! After going through a few dozen eggs, I finally threw in the towel on homemade mayo. Anyway, still a rock solid blender, and makes up smoothies and milkshakes in a snap with easy clean up. So I highly recommend it for that use.
I could do an infomercial for this product. In a day I have blended up frozen strawberries, ice cubes, protein shakes, and made cream of aspargus soup in a pot on the stove with my Smart Stick. It chops up everything smoothly and it is easy to clean. No more lumpy protein shakes in the mornings, I am looking forward to making chilled soups and fruit sorbets this summer and I can't wait to use my Smart Stick when I make a vat of Thanksgiving Gravy. This is my new favorite kitchen appliance.
Always wanted one of these & the Cuisinart Imersion Blender is the best. Easy to use & easy to clean. Can use this for soups & smoothies & no need to use a blender.
For making soups and sauces you can't ask for anything better than this. Clean up is a snap. I love it.
The versatile stick design of the Cuisinart Smart stick Hand Blender lets users blend ingredients right in pots, pitchers, bowls, or clear plastic beaker that's included. A powerful 200-watt motor operates with an easy one-touch control. Blends drinks, purees soup, mixes pancake and crepe batters in seconds! Both stainless steel blending shaft and beaker are dishwasher-safe
