Post subject: Couple of questions....
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>basics (more info?)

1. Is there a good way to research error log. I find this feature a sad
example of MS work. Can not even cut and paste and error information is,
well just like a lot of MS stuff, unacceptable.

2. On the start menu, right click, there are different listings. How can
I manage these. There are different on different systems so I know this
is not standard. Example: search is first listing and open is second.
Would like to place a end of list. Example 2: Some (virus?) app put
"scan start menu", would like to delete this line.

3. Another area of complete disaster is the Services function. Can I
manipulate these entries? Many applications do not bother to put info in
columns etc..

Thanks in advance.
