Post subject: Corrupt Powerpoint file
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>powerpoint (more info?)

I made some changes to a master PowerPoint document and saved it with a
different file name . When I am trying to open the new file, it shows me
"PowerPoint can't read" the file error message! The master document works
fine though. Please suggest a patch or any other solution to retrieve the
data/slides.

PowerPoint 2007 can't open PPT file from app installation .. - I have an application that launches PowerPoint 2007 and opens a PPT file in slideshow mode. Opening pps file with no file association - Have never worked with PowerPoint or pps files. Have received a pps file by email and can not open it. My Microsoft Office has Office 10 - not PowerPoint.exe. Is there any program I can use to open this pps file.
