I am using the "Deploying Vista Step by Step Guide" that i downloaded from
Microsoft. I'm at the point of validating the image after following the
directions, and am getting the following error in the Messages pane:
"Setting SkipMachineOOBE is deprecated in the Windows image"

I have this setting set to "false" as it say to set it as in the guide...
so, no matter what i change the setting to... the validation process still
prompts me to fix this setting...

can you help me out?

thanks.

Since its use is deprecated, the only way to prevent the validation
process from flagging it is to remove it entirely. Since the default is
false, this should give the desired result.
