I have 2 laptops with VHP and have attempted to upgrade them to Vista
Ultimate.

Both upgrades didn't seem to have any problems, but the computers still
report they have VHP installed.

Does anyone have any ideas what is the problem?

Thanks
AG

For whatever reason, this upgrade path does not attempt to update/re-install
drivers during the install. If a component is not recognized during the
upgrade, it may cause the upgrade to fail and revert back to the original
install.

If possible, disable any non-vital equipment in the BIOS that you can for
the install. (ie. Sound Card, Fingerprint scanner, Network card, etc.)
Perform the install, then turn these back on and download the appropriate,
up-to-date drivers.
